Proof of the Relationship
 Civil Marriage Certificate
 Extensive documentation regarding customary marriages that the marriage is recognized under the law of the jurisdiction where it occurred.
 Proof of the validity of the marriage
 Birth Certificates of Children born to current marriage
 Household Registration
 Bank Report of the joint usual account or saving account
 The leasing receipt or agreement with the couple as leaseholders
 Vehicle Insurance and Register, making clear the co-ownership of the couple
 Recent pictures taken together (traveling together or others)
 Records proving the persistent relation for a period (phone bills record or letters record)
 Proof of the spouses status, such as passport or driving license
 Joint Credit Card Report
 Letters from the employers of both parties, describing the employees detailed marriage status and the beneficiary of the companys interests
 Wedding ceremony or wedding pictures
 Divorce decrees, death certificates, or other documentation evidencing the termination of all prior marriages of both parties

If the applicant got green card through prior marriage, and the termination of the prior marriage was not due to the death of ex-spouse, evidence should be presented to testify that the prior marriage was not intended for immigration.

 Household registration of children born to prior marriages

 Wedding ceremony or wedding pictures with ex-spouse
 A copy of any divorce decrees, death certificates, or annulment decrees that establish the termination of any prior marriages before this marriage
