Offices Closed Today:

All offices are following their regular schedules. Public hours may be found on each field office webpage.

USCIS is prepared to temporarily close offices, if necessary, along the Gulf of Mexico coastline in the projected path of Tropical Storm Gustav. If an office is closed, or our customers are evacuated from their homes, USCIS will automatically reschedule all appointments until a time when it is safe to resume operations.

Scheduled Office Closings:

All USCIS offices and Application Support Centers will be closed on Monday, September 1, 2008, in honor of the Labor Day holiday.

Louisiana - New Orleans District Office is expected to be closed Tuesday, September 2, and Wednesday, September 3, due to the landfall of Hurricane Gustav. Idaho - Boise Sub Office will be closed on Thursday, September 11, 2008 so staff can participate in a Judicial ceremony.
