Applications for Immigration Benefits
Immigration application receipts increased 40 percent compared to the number received in November 2009. November 2010 approvals increased by 7 percent, denials decreased by 26 percent, and pending decreased less than 7% compared to November 2009.

Major volumes of pending applications at the end of November 2010 include: 449,823 I-130 immediate/all other petitions; 402,035 I-485 applications to adjust status; 179,840 I-765 employment authorizations; 202,881 I-90 green card renewals/replacements; 73,599 I-129 forms filed; 70,121 I-131 travel document/advance; 45,708 I-821 temporary protected status.

Naturalization Applications
Naturalization receipts in November 2009 decreased 28 percent when compared to November 2008, while approvals/oaths decreased by 37 percent and denials decreased 66 percent.
