Applications for Immigration Benefits
Immigration application receipts decreased  5 percent compared to the number received in February 2010. February 2011 approvals increased by 3 percent, denials decreased by 31 percent, and pending decreased less than 1% compared to February 2010.

Major volumes of pending applications at the end of February 2011 include: 474,159 I-130 immediate/all other petitions; 399,424 I-485 applications to adjust status; 129,052 I-765 employment authorizations; 244,102 I-90 green card renewals/replacements;  44,942 I-129 forms filed; 55,565 I-131 travel document/advance; 76,873 I-751 remove conditions spouse jointly/waive.
 

Naturalization Applications
Naturalization receipts in February 2011 increased 7 percent when compared to February 2010, while approvals/oaths increased by 3 percent and denials increased 2 percent.
